Jeremy R. Robins is an associate specializing in insurance defense, product and premises liability, and marijuana law. Mr. Robins has worked for both plaintiff and defense firms, even doing a short stint as an intellectual property and First Amendment attorney.
In 2009, Mr. Robins graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Robins earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities at Fort Lewis College, Durango, Colorado in 1998, before entering the Navy in 1999 as a Surface Warfare Officer and serving the next five years on active duty and the last twelve as a reservist. He presently enjoys the rank of Lieutenant Commander, serving under Vice Admiral Nora Tyson, Commander U.S. Third Fleet, as the Manpower Officer of Joint Forces Maritime Component Command, Las Vegas Detachment, splitting his time between Las Vegas, San Diego and Hawaii.
During his time in the Navy, Mr. Robins has performed tours in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii as a Division Officer aboard both the Destroyer USS O’Kane and Frigate USS Crommelin; in Cornwall, England as an Anti-Submarine Tactical Watch Officer for JMF St. Mawgan; in South Korea as the Executive Officer of Commander Third Fleet, Chinhae Detachment; in Kabul, Afghanistan as the Chief of Key Leader Engagement for ISAF Joint Command; in Miami, Florida as the Assessments Officer for Special Operations Command South; in Sasebo, Japan as the Operations Officer of Command Fleet Activities Sasebo; in Naples, Italy as the Ballistic Missile Defense Operations Manager and Aegis Ashore Lead for Commander Sixth Fleet.
Mr. Robins was born in Aberdeen, Washington, and grew up skiing, rafting and hiking in the mountains of Durango, Colorado. In his free time, Mr. Robins is an avid board gamer, both playing and designing; has a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, working toward his purple; co-leads a Bible Study at the Crossing Christian Church and is an Ambassador for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
