Ms. Halbert earned her paralegal degree in 1995 from Philips College in Riverside, California, graduating with a 4.0 degree and President’s honors.  She has over 14 years experience in various areas of law including product liability, antitrust, real estate, medical malpractice, employment, corporate, breach of contract, personal injury, energy, telecommunications, eminent domain, complex litigation, capital cases and securities.

Ms. Halbert began her paralegal career with the Public Defender’s Office in California, in 1995, as part of a newly formed paralegal team that handled capital cases exclusively.  During this time, Ms. Halbert compiled social histories on clients and worked closely with experts in providing analyses on how defendants had evolved.

In 1998 Ms. Halbert moved to civil litigation where she has been a part of many large cases.  She has managed discovery in several complex cases including tobacco litigation, energy and telecommunications litigation.  She has also gained extensive skills in managing electronic discovery on various complex cases and continues to incorporate her varied experience into each case she handles.
