James J. Conway is an associate with BACKUS • CARRANZA and is admitted to the State Bar of Nevada.  Mr. Conway received his Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  While in law school, Mr. Conway was a member of law review, was named to the Dean’s List, and served as an extern in the Washington, D.C. office of U.S. Senator Harry Reid.  Mr. Conway graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Finance.

Prior to law school, Mr. Conway worked in banking and finance.  In addition, Mr. Conway has also been employed with a publicly traded biotechnology company, a gaming device manufacturer, and a major resort on the Las Vegas Strip.  Mr. Conway has been a resident of Las Vegas for over 28 years.
