Robert Cozart is the senior litigation paralegal and has been with Backus • Carranza since its inception. He is a graduate of the University of Phoenix where he received Masters of Business Adminstration, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He is also a graduate of Edmonds Community College where he received his Paralegal Associate degree.

Mr. Cozart has 19 years paralegal experience and was previously employed by the State of Oregon, Department of Justice, Trial Division as a litigation paralegal. Mr. Cozart's prior military experiences as an Operations Specialist, and criminal investigator have provided him with a high degree of applicable knowledge and skills.
