with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) including
claims for age discrimination, racial discrimination, sex discrimination,
sexual harassment, religious discrimination, before the Equal Employment
Opportunity Commissions (EEOC), the Nevada Equal Rights Commission (NERC),
Nevada state courts, Nevada federal courts, the United States Court
of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
- defense of administrative
claims and lawsuits under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Employment
Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
- development of employee
manuals, medical leave policies, sexual harassment policies, anti-discrimination
policies, drug testing policies, and other employment documents for
employers including progressive discipline policies and termination
procedures.
- Firm members educate
employers and industry members by speaking and providing training on
a wide variety of employment law issues including the matters outlined
above.
