Chris Harmon earned a CALI Award in Patents, Trademarks, & Trade Secrets in Fall 2021. He graduated with an Intellectual Property Law Concentration.

At Boyd Law School, he was Vice President of Part-Time Students in the Student Bar Association for the ‘21 – 2022 school year. He also worked as an extern under Chief Judge Melissa Saragosa at the Las Vegas Justice Court. He assisted with the creation of an eviction diversion program, as well as various clerking tasks.

Mr. Harmon came to Backus Burden from the Nevada Attorney General’s Office where he was a Deputy Attorney General in Taxation. Additionally, Mr. Harmon has prior experience as an attorney in insurance defense work where he advised clients and insurance carriers on legal issues.
